About Us

XIROBLOTA® - FERRAMENTAS E FORJADOS, LDA. is a company based in the industrial area of the city of Fiães, in Santa Maria da Feira, and is dedicated to the manufacture and sale of a wide range of tools, forgings, utensils for agriculture and civil construction.

The company was founded in the 1930s by Mr. Alberto Alves Ribeiro, known as Mr. Alberto Teles. After several decades, in 1977, the son Mr. Ângelo Alves Ribeiro took over the leadership of the company, and in 1990, José António Monteiro began his apprenticeship in this area of forging with Mr. Angelo Ribeiro.

In April 2006, José António Monteiro and António Luís Mateus founded XIROBLOTA® - FERRAMENTAS E FORJADOS, LDA, continuing the project created by the founder Mr. Alberto Alves Ribeiro.

Currently, XIROBLOTA® - FERRAMENTAS E FORJADOS, LDA is managed only by José António Monteiro, after the total acquisition of the company in June 2021, who built an experienced team committed to production based on high standards of demand and quality. The ability to fulfill all commitments made and to prioritize a professional relationship based on production capacity and meeting the needs requested, allows XIROBLOTA® to maintain an excellent reputation and provide the conditions to invest in the international market.

Since he was young, he has been passionate about the art that Mr. Ângelo Alves Ribeiro taught him and for all the knowledge transferred over the years.

He considers himself a perfectionist, working on each tool in detail to make the work of those who will use it easier. He always ensures the best for his employees, as he recognizes that they are an important part of the XIROBLOTA® - FERRAMENTAS E FORJADOS, LDA.

Passionate about his son, he is concerned about passing on a moral and civic legacy to him and, therefore, deals with all employees, collaborators, suppliers and customers with seriousness and transparency.
